Rashaan looks to create new opportunities within his role here at the Baltimore Convention Center. He began his career with the organization as a Sales & Services Coordinator and worked his way up to becoming a Convention Services Manager. He has multiple years of hospitality experience from serving guests in hotel settings to planning local events for his hometown tourism office. In 2017, Rashaan graduated from Frostburg State University where he studied Recreation and Parks Management. Throughout his time in school, he interned for the Baltimore County Recreation Parks Department where he worked closely with his Community Supervisor and helped manage events and facility programs. Rashaan also took on the role of commencement speaker for his graduating class.
Soon after, he studied for his master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Central Florida and graduated in 2020. With his expertise and education, Rashaan will bring a lot of support and knowledge to the Center’s team
