Heather Lester, CMP, DES brings over 14 years of experience working in the meetings & events industry. She began her hospitality career here at the Center in 2007 as a Sales Manager. Since then, she has spent the last 10 years as the Director of Meetings and Member Services for King Management Group, an association management company. In this role, Ms. Lester planned and executed 10-15 events per year for 5 separate non-profit trade associations.
In 2016, she earned her Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Accreditation and recently earned her Digital Event Strategist (DES) certification. Heather is an active member of PCMA and ASAE. Heather has served on the board of directors for PCMA and MPI.
Heather is a Baltimore Orioles super fan! When she’s not in the office, you can find her cheering for the O’s both home and away.
