Dominic Watkins joined the Sales, Services & Marketing Department at the Baltimore Convention Center in September of 2019. He is a University of Maryland alumnus who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. He brings a wealth of experience in facilities management, customer service, and event coordination. Previously Dominic worked for the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks, where he was responsible for training and supervising contingent staff, programming, building management, and facilitating the sale of rentable space at the North Laurel Community Center and Park. Dominic’s position also called upon him to work in conjunction with the Howard County Health Department, Police Department, and the Office of Aging and Independence, assisting in the day to day operations of the community center and park.
In his role as a Sales and Services Coordinator Dominic supports sales and services. Dominic is eager to further his knowledge of the hospitality and conventions industry.
