Dominic Watkins joined the Sales, Services & Marketing Department at the Baltimore Convention Center in September of 2019 as a Sales and Services Coordinator. In August of 2021, Dominic was promoted to Contracts and Scheduling Administrator. Now a Sales Manager, Dominic is eager to apply what he’s learned to his new role.
He is a University of Maryland alumnus who holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. He brings a wealth of experience in facilities management, customer service, and event coordination. Previously Dominic worked for the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks, where he was responsible for training and supervising contingent staff, programming, building management, and facilitating the sale of rentable space at the North Laurel Community Center and Park. Dominic’s position also called upon him to work in conjunction with the Howard County Health Department, Police Department, and the Office of Aging and Independence, assisting in the day-to-day operations of the community center and park.
