As the Director of Public Safety Keith oversees the safety and security within the interior and exterior of the facility along with managing the Public Safety Department.
Keith brings over 30 years of experience in policing, emergency management, community outreach and operations. He graduated second in his class at the Maryland State Police Academy and served over 30 years with the State Police in a variety of roles. Keith brings years of safety training experience including participation in the Governor’s Active Shooter Safety Education Training, Safe Schools Initiative Focus Group, Diversity Training, Bomb Threat Management, and more. Throughout his career, he was awarded two Maryland Governor’s Citations Medal of Valor, Superintendent’s for D.C. Sniper Task Force, and more.
Keith holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Towson University.
