The Baltimore Convention Center is happy to share an Equity Statement and Objectives of the I.D.E.A. Council (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility). This Council, created on February 23, 2023, is represented by all organizational departments, and leadership levels, and strives to include as many employees and voices as possible. The Council and the programs and ideas that are being created are a priority of the BCC. We are also a member of Visit Baltimore’s Warm Welcome Pledge and stand alongside the entire hospitality industry in Baltimore to foster an inclusive community where visitors of all backgrounds, races, genders, and abilities know and feel that they’re welcome when they come to Charm City.
